The Ukrainian people have become a strong wall, preventing the Russian dictator from uniting with China and becoming the free world’s most powerful adversary.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the renowned American blogger Laura Loomer.
Rebirth of the Soviet Empire
According to the Ukrainian leader, at the outset of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine lacked both weapons and financial support from the United States, while global partners hesitated in their decisions. However, the decisive resistance of Ukrainians showed the entire world that the Russian dictator has no intention of stopping at just one country.
“They wanted to occupy us because they wanted to rebuild the Soviet Union,” he declared.
Zelenskyy explained that Vladimir Putin’s global ambition is to reclaim all territories of former Soviet republics and to subjugate European nations.
Global Threat to the US
If Russia succeeds in realizing its plan to revive the empire, America will face the most dangerous enemy in its history. Zelenskyy warned that a new USSR would inevitably join forces with China, creating the world’s largest empire with an army that would surpass the American armed forces.
“This will be the most dangerous adversary for the United States, not just for your democracy or way of life, but also for business and the private sector,” the head of state emphasized.
Ukraine as a Protective Wall
In response to a question about the rationale behind American investments in the war, the president likened Ukraine to a barrier standing in the way of these dangerous aspirations of the Russian leadership. It is the Ukrainian defenders who are currently preventing the formation of a global anti-American coalition.
He reminded that the United States has business interests and significant influence in Europe, which would be jeopardized if Russian plans succeeded.
“It’s a wall. You paid for this wall, and that’s why they cannot get the USSR back and become the biggest enemy for the US,” Zelenskyy concluded.
He stressed that financial aid and weapons from the US are indeed costly, but it is precisely through these investments that America protects itself from the emergence of a superpower adversary.
Recall that the previous day, Laura Loomer visited the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, damaged by a Russian attack. After this, the Trump supporter denounced the Russian dictator and spoke of Moscow’s hypocrisy.
