A Russian missile destroyed the US-registered enterprise Terminal Autonomy in Kyiv.

A Russian missile obliterated a drone manufacturing plant in Kyiv owned by the American company Terminal Autonomy. This appears to be the first instance of Russia striking a US defense contractor.

According to sources, the facility was producing long-range precision drones. These drones are capable of bypassing Russian electronic warfare systems, as their guidance is taken over by artificial intelligence during the final flight phase. State records indicate the corporation was incorporated in Delaware in 2023.
“We use AI-powered loitering munitions and precision munitions that are already in active service against adversary assets on the front lines,” the company’s website states.
It is noted that neither Terminal Autonomy nor the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have yet responded to journalists’ email inquiries for comment. Anthony Vinci, a former senior US intelligence official and author of “The Fourth Intelligence Revolution: The Future of Espionage and the Battle for America’s Soul,” commented on the event.
“The Russians don’t care who owns the manufacturing facility. It’s still a target. They don’t care if it’s American or somebody else’s,” Anthony Vinci remarked.
The expert also commented on Donald Trump’s recent statement regarding plans to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot anti-aircraft missiles.
“I do think that if Patriot missiles or any American system were being produced in Ukraine, the Russians would target that manufacturing facility,” Anthony Vinci assured.
It is reported that the Russian propaganda agency TASS was the first to report the attack, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense. The report did not mention the American owner but stated that the enterprise employed “specialists of a Ukrainian-American company” and confirmed the production of AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet drones. A source familiar with the company confirmed that no employees were killed as a result of the enemy attack.
